of Metavia Sync for macOS ("Application")
In order to receive information about your Personal Data, the purposes and the parties the Data is shared with, contact Metavia Sync ("Owner") via contact details specified below.
Types of Data collected
The Application collects some Personal Data from its Users. Personal Data may be freely provided by the User, or, in case of Usage Data, collected automatically when using the Application.
The Application processes and stores the following types of data:
Data Stored Locally on Your Device
- • App Store Connect Credentials: Your API keys (Key ID, Issuer ID, and Private Key) are stored securely in your macOS Keychain and never leave your device.
- • OpenAI API Key: If you choose to use AI-powered translation features, your OpenAI API key is stored locally in your macOS Keychain.
- • App Metadata: Application metadata fetched from App Store Connect (app names, descriptions, keywords, what's new) is temporarily processed in the Application for editing purposes.
Important: All credentials and sensitive data are stored exclusively in your macOS Keychain, which is a secure, encrypted storage system provided by Apple. The Application never sends your credentials to any servers owned or operated by Metavia Sync.

- • Crash reports and diagnostic data
- • Anonymous identifiers
- • General location data (country/region level only)
Important: We do not collect any of your App Store Connect credentials, API keys, or app metadata content through analytics. The analytics data is completely separate from your work data and is used solely for improving the Application's functionality and user experience.
